Ok lets do a "real bit of tech " on discoweb :banghead:

So I'm playing with a disco with some "brake fade"
Ok to be fair it no longer a stock truck has a few missing pieces from the body and and interior but at hart it's still just a D1. I'm replacing the "stockish pedal step up with an aftermarket unit from Wilwood, the assist and need for vacuum will go away the abs is long gone. I will rerun the lines as needed and do some different calipers in the rear as they are junk anyway and need replaced asap (yesterday) I need ideas on what to stick on the rear for calipers ?

When I pulled my ABS, I ran new lines from MC to prop and throughout the truck. I ditched the ABS modulator. I put d90 stuff up front and Disco front 4 pots in the rear. You just have to drill out the top holes and use a washer to center them. I couldn't get the pedal to feel right. It stopped fine, but the pedal travel was way too low. I put stock rears back on, and it stops great. I also have DBA rotors. I'd love to swap the booster to get more pressure out back.

Put late 110 rears in the back. Fit is stock, but larger. I may have posted the part links last time this came up.

FYI I had my rear brakes lock up in the snow today during light brake application. My front callipers are definitely fucked up and I need rotors.
