Leveling my Disco (front lower than rear)

And I was wrong citing that the two posts above were an example of useless information, it was only the second one, the “buy a 4Runner” one. Almost original and almost funny, but not really.

It was mostly in jest, and at the same time poking you in the ribs. Forerunners seem to sag in the rear if you fill the fuel tank. It’s a horrible look and something I would never want in a Disco...

My Discovery levels out with a full tank. Well, almost. It's only about 1/4" difference front a rear, when I put a boat on the back it is dead level. I don't want rake but I don't like that the OMEs sag in the front as much as they do.

I'm also unlikely to do anything about it after the responses on this post. It is minor, but sometimes I look out at the truck and it looks like it is apologizing for something!

do you have the correct lower spring plates on the rear? The D2s have a deeper dish than a D1. Other than that your best option would be to space out the front or put an HD bumper on the rear. Do you even have the spare tire on the back? that'll add some weight.

I wanted to follow-up on this after I spoke with OME. Apparently I was sold the wrong front springs despite giving the reseller the correct spec on front weight. It seems to be a common issue - and really I won't mention the vendor b/c the OME sheets are very confusing on the subject.

With the ARB full width winch bar on the D2 the correct front spring is OME779 (aka ARB 2779). The front is now only slightly lower than the rear, which is better all around than the .25" - .75" so dip I was experiencing. Sounds minimal but it was noticeable. Steering is also lighter now, in a good way.
