LR2 Heater/AC Blower Squeal - DIY Fix?

Not a huge fix when I had to do it with my '99 Disco. Wife's 2008 LR2 emitting medium squeal when heat/AC is turned on.

Fairly sure there's a fan/motor in there somewhere as the root cause - sound goes away with fan off or with a little mechanical agitation to the dashboard.

Any idea's how to get at this one?

Takes a special tool that goes into the fan cage end(right side) then while one person turns the whole fan assembly counter clockwise another person releases a locking tab on the drivers side with a small flat blade screwdriver. The tool slides into the cage and has a t handle on it for turning the fan in the housing. First couple times its a real bitch but after you get the idea of whats going on it's a little easier.
