My wife's LR3 is in the shop and she got a new LR2 as a loaner. I drove it for a short trip down to the local mkt to get some milk. Here's my quick breakdown..

-1-Car (notice I don't say truck) is very peppy
-2-Brakes are excellent
-3-Quite comfortable
-4-I like the automatic fancy headlights and mirrors(we have a base LR3 so I'm impressed with goodies)
-5-I like the auto power up/down feature on all windows, once again, our LR3 don't have that
-6-ignition switch/key hole is not ideally located, kind of annoying really
-7-I do like the push start
-8-rear cargo area is pretty lame, not much room there
-9-looks good in the garage(it's that orange-ish color), would make a nice grocery getter

Just thought I'd share

I actually saw two LR2 models during my visit to the Gulf Coast...a white one is parked in the Canal Place shopping center in New Orleans and I had a chance to at least walk around it and touch it (no getting inside of course). I also spotted a parked car carrier holding one RR3, three RRSports, one LR3 and an orange LR2, in Biloxi. Drove up and checked it out...don't care for the orange as much as the white, but I was very impressed with the fit and finish over the previous models.

I'm looking forward to a chance to test one out in the future.
