LR3 going into low ratio

Hi, my wife has a NAS 2008 LR3, 4.4L HSE. It has just started to try and put itself into low ratio on the T-box.
Normally worse when its cold, but just driving normally, it flashes up "select N for low range" without selecting Low.
Once she put it in N and it went into low and would not come out. We left it for an hour, started it up and selected hi, and it came out of lo into Hi.
I am thinking either switch pack of 4WD control module, no faults at all.

Do you mean the switch pack? I could see that being full of coffee or something.

The module is behind the battery which it is also commonly corroded.

Yes, meant the switch pack. Have heard of issues when any liquid gets in it

I have a 2006 LR3 parts car and I think I will try the switch pack out of it first.
