I'm not too familiar with electrics on LR3s , so I'm hoping you guys can help me out. Does the brake vacuum pump have a pressure switch somewhere or is built into the pump? I see nothing between it and the booster aside from a check valve.
What I'm trying to do is eliminate the noisy and failure prone mechanical pump on my 300tdi D1 and replace it with a reliable electric setup. Aftermarket kits through Summit or whoever look cheap and overpriced. Hoping i can pull something simple out of a wreck. thanks!
