Lt230 output seal

My front output seal has started leaking. I have a replacement seal, but a buddy told me that Im better off replacing the whole yoke and seal.
What are your thoughts? Just the seal or do the whole kit?

Hi, seal works against a smooth cilindric area from yoke. Old seal is used to let a very very small line with an edge, that could damage new seal, if it is not removed by polishing it with fine sandpaper, rotating joke.
An usual mistake is not to do this.
Note i'm writing from south America: a new yoke is not cheap here and it's worth wasting a few minutes with this.
