95 D1 Over the last yr the diff light has slowly been illuminating and now it’s on all the time. It is definitely not locked. Could this be the sensor? What does that part look like? Part #? Thought of what else I could check for? Wasn’t able to find anything in the search. TIA

Ok I’ll have to check that. Is there a sensor too? Someone told me there is and to check that.
The switch is the sensor. When you engage the CDL, the linkage shaft pushes the switch in, triggering the dash light. Here's the part of my CDL install video where you can see what the switch looks like:
