Well. I got a new winch. It didn’t fit my SG bumper. So I decided to try something without a brush guard. Man this thing is tight. I’m on the fence about the look. But you can’t beat the angle. I had to move the trans cooler.

Tell me about that bumper. It looks great. I need one.

I got it all done today. I had to rewire all of the lights and blinkers. Sitting for a few years is hell on this plastic plugs.

A smittybilt winch in a britpart bumper is probably peak LRF, but here we are on dweb.
The winch is very nice. Read the reviews. The bumper is built as well as any of the $1200 (insert name of random rover shop here) bumpers I’ve dealt with. It’s way better than an ARB.

i remember when people used to take pride in their land rovers and demand only the highest quality parts at any price. how times have changed.

I'll admit that BritPart does not have the greatest reputation when it comes to certain parts. That said, I have not laid my hands on this bumper. What I do know is that Chad has more money and time/sweat involved in wrenching on his Rover than most. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt when he says he's impressed. It may not be as stout as an ARB, but then again maybe it doesn't have to be since it doesn't protrude like Bubba Gump's lip. It is also the cleanest bumper I've seen aside from a stock bumper.

Britpart is just a distributor. They distribute parts of varying quality from thousands of different manufacturers, some of which we are familiar with and would regard as sources of quality parts.
