I've been wanting to re-organize the way our site is laid out for some time now. When you went to https://discoweb.org, you were presented with an ancient relic from the '90s. It wasn't totally obvious that there was a forum to be found here unless you happened to notice the little "Bulletin Board" link up at the top. Google didn't notice much, either. I'm pretty sure that this drove off the vast majority of new visitors to our site. It also resulted in a crappy 90's-era framed design where the ugly menu bar was at the top of every page, urging you to go buy a DVD in the DiscoWeb store or whatever.

So, I changed things around. I made the forum live in the base directory so you will now get to the DiscoWeb BBS when you type https://discoweb.org into your browser. The old site can be found as a link under the Non-Technical Forums section.

I added permanent redirects so the various search engines can re-discover the new URLs and so that your bookmarks will still work.

There's a chance that this may have broken something. If you notice anything amiss, please post up here and let me know!

Just logged back in after many (too many) months away and caught up on many, many entertaining threads. I've missed this place and everyone on it. Nice job with all the updates and such Chris!

For anybody having this problem on a iPhone or iPad:

Settings -> Safari -> Clear History and Website Data -> Clear History and Data

I don't know why mobile Safari is caching old data but it is. This will fix it.
