I paid $360 for my ten inch double row. I'm staying under ten inch for the rest. Ten inch and longer you only get spot or spot/flood combo.

I'm putting the dually flush mounts in the fenders and quarters. More than enough light for 2 mph.

Any idea who ballistic is making ends for or are they going to package someone else's LEDs and sell them S theirs?

LED's are so trendy.

Widener could see the trail in front of him before it was cool.

but seriously, that motherfucker drives so fast on the trail; I'd give him money to support his lighting habit for when I make the mistake of riding with him at night.

I've had my eyes on those LEDs for a while, but I've also had my eyes on the 4,000s. I've wanted some of those for quite some time.

LED would be nice just for the efficiency, but it's hard for me to move away from proven technology. I know LEDs are known for their life, but every now and again, you get a dud. I haven't checked to see if those things can be easily serviced. Nothing looks more stupid than a line of LEDs with a dead one in the middle.

It doesn't look like I'll get either one, though, because these damned 500s

JUST.

WONT.

FUCKING.

DIE!

Geez. If you want a light that will last forever, buy a 500. I hate those things... I really do. They look so wimpy up there, the brackets are complete rubbish, and the beam patterns aren't ideal, but damn they take some abuse.

Cheers,

Kennith

LEDs are a no-brainer for me. Bright as hell, efficient as can be, and last for fucking ever. They're the shit, quite simply. Just, ya know... goddamn spendy.

I played with the Rigid LEDs at Sierra Expeditions. Damn near gave myself laser eye surgery with them (which I've done a lot lately with the tank LEDs) . I'm thinking the 36" bar would be perfect low profile lighting for the front bumper or roof rack. Also the 4 LED flood lights for the side of the roof rack. Problem is it'd be $1500 or better to buy.

Unless your racing it's not worth it to spend 1500 bucks on LED's...I spent 450 beans and have it side by side with the Rigid stuff and there is zero difference. I laugh at the guy's who are dropping sick cash on the LED stuff and still haven't put basic protection (diff guards), better tires or locker's in their trucks because they say can't afford it...but they got some blingin' lights that they'll use maybe 3 times a year
