It's been one of those weeks. I wish I had a pony and a boat.

The version in the movie "from Dusk to Dawn" has better visuals with Salma Hayek in it.

This kid is playing a song at a coffee house in Maui and some dude comes up and starts singing along with the kid. It turns out that the guy in the sandals is Matisyahu who wrote and performed the song. The kid had no friggin idea that he had an impromptu jam session with the songwriter. It was hard for him to even comprehend that it was him. I guess the songwriter used to have a long as beard and looks completely different.

That's cool! He looks just a little different then when he started. He was just here in Portland with 311 and he puts on a great show.

I know that some of you all are audiophiles - what are you using for streaming? Tidal? Streaming is for hipster fags and you only use vinyl??

What's streaming? ;)

I only stream lossless FLAC's from my media library. I do it that way, because CD's became unmanageable as my collection grew past a certain point. I still have vinyl and my turntable too, but have slowly been digitizing them. That takes forever, because the only way to get results I'm happy with is to record into an uncompressed wavefile, process and enhance that, then break each track down into individual FLAC's.

What do you use to rip your cd's and what are you using to manage your library?
