The comments on the YouTube video explain the situation in a bit more detail. Apparently the owner of the buggy activated the rear steer on her while she was driving and she had no idea.

I guess I'm not as impressed with the Sport as I am surprised the jeep struggled so much. I'm was never into rock crawling but that just doesn't look that difficult to me.

The Sport. The first six minutes are ehh, but after that pretty fucking impressive. I'd never own one but won't knock anyone who does.

Looks like the Bronco Sport drives off-road the way that all the new Land Rover products do. Very unimpressed by the new Defender considering the Bronco Sport has better lines and looks. I wonder if the success of the Bronco and Sport will bleed into the Explorer, Expedition, and F-150 design. The Sport is just a fancy Escape right?

The Bronco sport is the same drivetrain as the Disco sport. So it's probably a lot like offroading in a Freelander or I guess more like an LR2. Or yes like you said an escape. It's probably fantastic in the snow with a set of winter tires on it, but not doing anything that going to require anything that looks like articulation.

I may be going out on a limb here, but I don't believe an Escape is going up that trail that Sport did at the end of the vid above.

Ford responds to Bronco fans, will offer 'Sasquatch' extreme off-road option with a stick shift

Meanwhile, Gerry adjusts his cumberbun and gives his latest London art-scene acquisition a gentle leveling nudge.

I saw 2 test mules on Webster Pass in Colorado. The huge tires and overall shape looks great. The engineers driving weren't friendly. I get that it's not a press event, but why not use the opportunity to get trail users excited? Theoretically, I could buy one.

Built a Black Diamond and base model with Sasquatch. Both came out at about the same price ~ $45k. Added some sound deadening, sliders, and skid plate but not much else. They really get you with the hard top up charge on the 4 door. It’s the same cost as moving from the 2.4 to 2.7

Pretty decent price especially compared to LR Defender although that is to be expected.

Need to price one out as well.

Of course it doesn’t include all the interior finishes of the new Defender either... Sucks to still have vinyl seats at that price

Ford is throttling the amount of people that can access the build and price page for the Bronco. Either massive demand and interest or a really poorly design webpage that can’t handle traffic. My bets are on the demand being high.
