Hi All;
I am rebuilding my old Disco 1 engine (4.0 Litre). I was looking at the "Haynes" manual last night and in the fine print it said "camshaft bearings in the cylinder block are not renewable...a new block will be required." (2A-11, item 7-12).
Ooooops !!!! I read that a bit too late. The old ones are already out.
New ones ARE available so is there any reason they are not supposed to be re-fitted?
