The Active Variable Suspension is responsive and tunable between the selectable drive modes. The new E-KDSS enhances articulation by 2.45 inches (62mm) over the Premium and Luxury models and 3.39 inches (86mm) over previous years.

E-KDSS disconnects both stabilizer bars, which can make the GX behave like it has no sway bars at slow speeds off-road.

Overtrail variants are 4.52 inches wider, while the other trims gain just 3.74 inches of width compared to the old GX.

The Overtrail also comes with 18" wheels and 33" Toyo Open Country AT3 tires while the other trims have 20" (Premium) or 22" (Luxury).
