What size socket do I need for the nut on the front of the Viscous Coupling housing on the transfer case? Looks big, like 34mm or something. This is on a 95 RRC.

it should be a 20mm standard nylock nut - if that's the case, it should be 30mm (it's been years since I pulled a flange off a t-case, so this is purely theoretical).
It is 30mm, and it was not a big deal taking it off. Heard some stories about them being bears to remove.
