odd shaking

alright, i have not been @ hwy speeds for a while but i got out on inerstate today and my 96 disco (124k) has developed a "shake". happens only over 65mph and only on DOWNHILLS. feels like it is coming from the rear and feels like a tire is really out of balance. i can feel all throught the vehicle and it does not fluctuate. is will stop if i put the gas on then start again when i ease back or let off gas. it does it in neutral just the same as drive and once again will only do this going downhill. i crawled under and made sure both driveshafts were bolted on tight and looked for anything obvious. does anyone have any ideas on this one? maby u-joints? thanks for any help!

well, i dont have the rotoflex anymore and i went out and used two huge sets of channel locks to wiggle the u-joints and all seems well..stressing "seems"! if i could get that stoopid cdl unstuck i could remove the rear drive shaft and see if that wont pinpoint my prob.. ok then, so how to get the cdl unstuck?

timmy...south park fan? i cant get enough of it myself!!
