This board has definitely aged well thanks to many of the folks on this thread. Maybe a little grey hair does that to us all! There is far less acrimony (at least in the main section) and it has become one of the greatest resources for these vehicles. I still find things to help me and hope I have helped others.

Pour one out for FlyFisher and Muskyman.

I hope the rest of you remain healthy, but if you don't, please leave word with your next of kin to sell your truck on this site!!!

She’ll keep it, she likes it more than I do.

I'm 56 and my kids are in / just graduated from college. My usefulness to them at this point is largely limited to funding.

Listen to discostew, you will absolutely miss the "dashboard time" with them. Some people thought I was nuts driving up and down the eastern seaboard of the US to watch them play games/tournaments. I viewed it as an opportunity to bond. You'll learn a lot about them, and yourself.

I'll be 53 next month and I have a daughter that graduated from college a year ago and she now has her own health plan and 401K. Then I have a 9 year old and a soon-to-be 6 year old. I'll be 65 when the 6 year old graduates from high school. LOL, it's a fun ride!

Reading through this old stuff and seeing lots of names. I was here in late 2000/early 2001 mostly posting Series stuff. I was running around the SoCal desert with Han, Ho, John, Bluegill, etc. Still have the 97 D1 as a daily ride. The IIA is long gone. Never posted much here as I never had much to add. Still really don't. Lots of reading though.

Iron Chef Challenge II !
I remember that hill. If I am not mistaken, that's the only time ever I saw a NATO jerry can open by itself - while flying around my brother's jeep's boot.
That wagoneer battleship? Many moons have passed since then. :)
