Meanwhile while American fight over who is going to pay for insurance and health care, Hospitals seem to just make up what ever damn charges they want. It seems like our healtcare costs are high because the hospitals charge too much and not because of insurance.

What i found interesting was,

There is a huge difference in how children are birthed in the UK than the US. UK uses predominantly gas and air(nitrous oxide and O2) while the US does not use it at all for anesthetic. It is cheaper than the easy out epidural which most US hospitals seem to jump to right away.

My wife did a naturally child birth with a midwife and the insurance company does not seem to care.
