I am looking for an over and under shotgun. I have done a search, but nothing really came up about them. I was just wondering what yall were shooting or what yall prefered. I am not going to be shooting trap, mainly just clays and field birds, so I want to stick with the 28 inch. I have held all of these guns and must say the berettas take the cake, but I was wondering if anyone had any of these what their opinion would be.

I am currently looking at:
Winchester 101 Pigeon Grade http://www.collectorsfirearms.com/admin/product_details.php?itemID=956

Browning 525 Golden Sporting Clays http://www.collectorsfirearms.com/admin/product_details.php?itemID=5163

Browning Citori

Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon II

Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon V

collectors has some nice guns but your rarely get a good deal from them. i missed out on a kongsberg model 1914 (colt 1911 produced in norway) for $795 from them a few years back & haven't seen much on their shelves i've realy had to have since then.
sometimes their internet price & their instore prices are way off, they have a german guild rifle thats listed at about $1295 on the wedsite & $695 on the tag in the store.

I have been researching these things for a while now and have come to the conclusion that most of the gun dealers are very close on their prices, unless you are buying from and individual. I am not set on getting one from collectors, but they seem to have some decent prices and their pictures are really good (main reason I used the links). I know some of yall out there have an O/U!!!

their pictures are really good at hiding stuff too.
the stock on the gun in my post above was very badly cracked & repaired at the wrist. cant see it in the photos & its not mentioned in the add.

I like that 687 SP II you posted.

I have a 686 (similiar with the same schnabel fore end) and like it for field and occasional clays.

I have a Ruger Red Label 12 ga. O/U.

I bought it a few years ago and opted for the O/U because I am left handed. Honestly, I don't care for it so much now and prefer the semi-auto b/c I get another shell for duck hunting. The Ruger has all choke tubes and has 26 inch barrel.

I currently use a Benelli M2 left hand model in matte black syth. It is a workhorse. I am willing to sell the Ruger. Any offers? Pick up only, Newark, Ohio 43055.

PM if interested.

Man if you were selling a beretta 687 EL or 687 SP V, I would for sure buy it. I am looking into one for occasional use, and starting up something I can pass down to my kids, etc. I use either a remington 870 super mag for the swamps (where there is a chance of me dropping it) while duck hunting or a benelli super black eagle for anything else. I have to say that super black eagle is an awesome semi auto.

Go to a gun store that will let you shoulder & dry fire the weapons. The one that fits best is the best you can do. The gun is meant to be shot, not looked at, so go off feel not looks or price.
