Does the shop you’re using have access to Topix?
Good question. He’s a really good guy but it’s been some years since he was a LR cert mechanic and we all know how times have changed. I may need to just pull the cord use a more modernized shop.

Some independent shops don’t want to pay for Topix access so they use Alldata which often has incorrect or outdated information in my limited experience with it.

I'm sure this is getting old by now but thought I'd offer an update on the "progress". So, the mechanic and I re-aligned and decided to loop in Autologic. They took the wheel and determined the PCM had in fact not been updated as the dealership said they did. They downloaded the update and that took the code away. We'll see if that in truth is the fix over time. I will say, we've never had any of the typical symptoms of a weak pump, just the CEL so fingers crossed.
