it cracks me up when a license plate says something obvious about the vehicle.
It already says "range rover" on the tailgate, why bother?

"ROVR XD" still doesn't say a bit of information more about your truck _not_ being made by Jeep or Toyota.

And, since nobody outside Land Rover world gives a shit about XD or not, and most inside Land Rover world, seeing a D1 with that paint scheme, would know that it is a 97 XD, it makes your plate a complete waste of money and advertising space.

i didn't mean to put that last part of my comment as an example of how to people know what your truck is. I was just stating what i had. I could care less if people read my plate and see i have an XD, or get confused... it doesn't matter to me.

i'm gonna change it to FLY FSH or FLI FSH etc....

my RRC is 'SO DIRTY' and im waiting on vanity plates that say 'WTFWJD' for my 04 DII. I was sure they'd decline my request for that plate but under explanation i wrote 'where the fish will joyfully dance' rather than 'what the fuck would jesus do'.

I was very happy with mine -- in NJ they have antique plates with a QQ designation. So, my 88" has the plate: QQ (which are small and stacked vertically) ROVER. Like XD said, people are morons -- especially when it comes to Series vehicles. Hopefully the plate will divert the "is that a Jeep" questions.

Although, the truck had yest to be christened -- and I surely doubt that Rusty or Krabby were available.
