On an LR3, what would you do beyond fluids and filters immediately after buying. Like doing the front driveshaft and 180 thermostat on a D2.

Check suspension bushings, hoses, plastic lines/fittings, and belts.
If you have time, and compressor is original, buy a rebuild kit.

LR3 crank sensors are not like the Disco's.
How many miles? I did a complete cooling system and radiator on our '08 sport at 115k. Water pump included.
Control arm bushings fail frequently. Clunking over sharp bumps or sharp application of brakes. I like the urethane replacements.
I always attack fluids first. Atlatic British transmission service kit with the steel pan and electrical sealing sleeve. Transfer case and diff fluid service.
