This wobble of complete death happens when I drive over a serious pothole or like railroad tracks. The steering goes insane, it feels like the wheels are wobbling off the hubs or the cv joints are shot, except the D2 doesn’t have those. Really need to figure this out. Tie rod? Springs? What?

Panhard is in front of the the front diff. Goes from driver side frame to passenger knuckle. I would remove the front wheels and place jack stands at the frame by rear of front radius arms so the front of suspension hangs with no tension. Get pry bar and check for play at panhard bushings. Then confirm torque

The method I prefer to check the panhard bushings is to have one person behind the wheel wiggling it back and forth, and the other on the ground eyeballing the bar. It'll move in ways it shouldn't with a good bushing... it'll be obvious.
