That's crazy. These kids are in elementary school and probably don't know any better. And the kid who hit the other kid in the pee pee, wow.

So what's the real story?

Who knows. That's my point. A sound bite headline is likely far from the truth. It's just more dribble to fill a void on a page. People get excited, say how wrong this is and what a crazy world we live in and then do it all over again the next day. We're like lab rats. "Oh look cheese.....yummy.....ouch......oh look cheese.....yummy.....ouch....."

While I'm sure there's more to the story than we're hearing (as of course there always is), I'm curious what the effect of this kind of bullshit is going to have on the youth of America. Perhaps there's a reason so many kids are depressed and disaffected, or simply awash in apathy and consumed by pursuit of simple pleasure. Maybe it's all they have left.

Oh, and:

Well, I'm off to take my kid to school now.... :banghead:

Dave,

Come pickup this 2.25 out of my garage before I punch you in your weewee.
Yeah, I know. At what point does it become sexual harassment, the threat or the action?

There are many ways to suggest that someone is attractive, and many words used can be substituted later for "cute". The kid, according to the school, said she was "fine". Using the word "cute" in the article is simply a way to bend a story.

Still doesn't sound disrespectful? There are many ways he could have used the word "fine":

1: That's a fine bitch.

2: You a fine piece of ass.

3: Girl, you fine.

4: Yo, our teacher is fine!

5: She got a fine ass.

6: That's one fine body on our teacher.

Adding inflection and context changes the image entirely. Now, does it annoy me when people wimp out these days? Sure, but sometimes you really need to think about the situation.

The little snot probably had it coming.

Cheers,

Kennith
