Having an ongoing issue with alarm randomly going off. ‘Jumped’ the hood latch sensor. Problem came back. Replaced the latch sensor. Problem came back. What other things do I need to look at? Are there sensors for other doors I need to look at? This is driving me up the wall

Do you ever get the hood open message with the hood closed? It is the most common reason but door latches can cause it too. Do all the power locks work in all 4 doors?
The vehicle stores all the alarm trigger history and it makes it pretty easy to figure out.

Haven’t seen any messages either before or after alarm issues. Typically this shit has happened middle of the night and I’m half awake just trying to get it to shut up so if there’s a message I probably missed it. All power locks work on all 4 doors.

How can I read the alarm history?

I can get into it with my Autel scanner. It’s in body control module. It’s title is alarm trigger history. It comes up as a list of the last 10 or so triggers that set off your alarm.

Unfortunately doesn’t appear I can get to the BCM codes with my scanner (RSW software). I’ll just have to be patient and check the message on the dash the next time it goes off. Any electrical gremlins that could cause it?

Yes I suppose some wire issue could cause this. You would see the hood open message while driving. I would see if someone could get into the body control module for you.
If you don’t know what’s triggering it I don’t think your going to be able to figure it out.
