On lug nut removal after torquing them I use the bottle jack handle as an extension to the lug nut tool to remove them. Sounds like yours were way over torqued!Finished up the rear suspension along with new bolts, and got the old tires off to deliver to the new owner this weekend. Had to run by Lowes and get some pipe to extend my breaker bar for the lug nuts. Didn’t have a lot of time to clean and paint, so when I do the rear brakes I’ll give everything a good wash.

So now that the parts are clean are you going to use anything on them? I’m kinda getting ready to clean my engine parts as well.
Very nice!Dropped off the wheels last week and picking them up today, getting new Michelins tomorrow. Color is Kingsport Gray.

It is the plastic pieces on mine as well i’m not so sure about. Looking good!!On the radiator surround I used Perfect Solution, but it’s almost too shiny. The other pieces cleaned up nicely, just need to keep going. May have the plenum redone.
Looking good! What are you planning for the spare tire cover? Mine could use a refresh as well and didn’t think of a body shop.Dropped this off at the body shop so they could work their magic…

I’m not sure the cover will work with the 5th boost. I’m going to have them fix the cracks and I’ll paint it and have decals made. It will probably get hung in the garage for some amount of time.Looking good! What are you planning for the spare tire cover? Mine could use a refresh as well and didn’t think of a body shop.
Great, now I have to find a steel wheel! The spare cover should only fit the steel wheel. Your refreshed Boosts turned out awesome.
