Hey all, I've been away for a while and am looking to get back to owning a Land Rover. Circumstances have changed a lot over the years and I now have a wife and family. I would like to give them a taste of off-roading with a Land Rover. I am hoping to find a place that would rent a Discovery. I have found Topo Terra (rents Toyota's) and Funki Adventures (rents Jeeps). Does anyone know of a rental place in Southern California?

What year Discovery do you want to rent? Check Turo, I've seen Rovers for rent on that platform in the past. Depending on what vehicle you want to try, you might reach out to a local club to ask if you can join any of their trips. You never know, you might find someone willing to share their vehicle.

at the very least you could probably show up to an outing and make some friends and jump in their rig. I've done that before when I didn't want to hit the really hard trails in NC in my DD, but there were plenty of folks with trail rigs willing to let me and my buddies split up between them as passengers/spotters
