Well, that wasnt it. Rough idle is still there. No CEL, but if you scan for codes it pulls P0301 and P0300.

So whats next?
Coil pack or injector? Is there any test I can do that would help me isolate if its one or the other?

Recommend following the path I described in post #15. You can use a spark tester to check for weak spark in helping diagnose a coil, but that's not always conclusive. I prefer to just swap side to side.

Someone told me that you could reprogram the ECU to think its in the Middle East region where cats and O2 sensors are not required. I cant find anything on it though. Thoughts?

Unfortunately yearly emissions testing nixes that idea..

Its not a hard misfire or stumble really. I just went out and turned the key to the on position. cleared the misfire codes, then cranked the engine. Its was a rough idle for the first 15 seconds, but after that it smoothed out. Not perfect, but way better. If I rev the engine it responds immediately, no hesitation at all. My plan is to pull the intake, replace the injector with a good used one and new O-ring. New intake gasket, and possible new coil ( just to cover my basis while Im there).

Replaced coil pack and upper intake gasket. All is well now. Driving it 100 miles in the morning to go wheeling so well see for sure, but driving it around tonight everything was good.
