Some bastard visigoth barbarian swine ripped off one of my rear lamp guards. Yanked it straight off, broke my fancy new aluminum hardware and everything. If anyone has a single passenger side rear lamp guard sitting around gathering dust, I'd like to buy it. This is the style that plugs into the rubber wedge on the quarter panel. Thanks.

Also, if anyone has a link to where I can buy new aluminum mounting hardware, please post it. I can't find where I bought my last set.

Thanks. I found a lamp guard and tracked down the vendor who sells the aluminum mounting hardware. It's out of stock at the moment but they expect more in May. I should be set - tentatively.

Thanks for posting - I need to get that hardware kit. I took my rear lamp guards off a couple years ago but never decided how to best remove the factory coating...

Great to hear you’re all set.

My Rangie had them from the PO and one of the first things I did was remove them.

There are many low hanging branches and what not where I take the Rover and my feeling is they can be easily snagged, ripped off, and then leaving holes in the mounting points.

Just something to consider.

I agree, the lamp guards have the potential to cause damage from exactly the hazard they are meant to protect against. I also off-road my Rovers in forested terrain but I keep the lamp guards installed for the originality. They came factory on my uncommon 93 Sport and I am trying to maintain it as close to stock as possible (with a few aftermarket parts that deviate from factory - shocks, tires, distributor, etc.).

No brush bar. Even better: front lamp guards! Here's a photo. The previous owner bent the bumper. I have a replacement in my garage, just need to make the time to install it.

Thx for sharing the pics. Very nice Rangie.

And even nicer the blue vs the more typical examples of black.

The headlight grills are a rare bird. Certainly better than the LR brush guard.

Very cool!

Heads up - before you buy the aluminum tail lamp guard mounting hardware I linked to above, wait for me to sort out my problems. I just received a set and upon attempting installation found that the screws are wood screws, not machine screws, and the threads don't grab the retainer plates in the body panels. They aren't going to hold so I need to sort out the situation with the vendor. Long boring story, replacement machine screws I had removed from another set of lamp guards don't fit through the aluminum mounting posts. There might be a solution here somewhere, but I'm not figuring it out today.

I had the same problem, after I bought from ebay I had to get longer screws. Also, the bolts are not SS and are rusting....

Did longer screws work for you? I would rather adapt the hardware to fix it rather than return it without a solution.
