You just slide it in between the solenoid and shifter…

I guess I am going to take out the center console and see what I can do about the wiring. I feel like between my two RRCs, they are giving me a crash course in the dinosaur engineering Rover used to use. I am a P38/DII+ Rover guy, though a couple late DIs started my obsession.

I copied your design, but made it C channel to wedge between the floor of the bucket and that tab that sticks out on top to the right. Works great.

I know I should probably start a different thread for this, but I went to install a new fuel pump assembly Lucky 8 sent me and ran into a problem.

I have no clue how to use the union and "olive nuts" they sent me. The fuel pump outlets are smooth, and I've never seen that before. I'm used to quick disconnects or pump housings that actually match the one coming out. The factory pump housing has flared pipes that stop the nuts from coming off.

There's a Demolition Man 3-shell joke in here somewhere. Can anyone tell me how I am supposed to join this to the threaded factory lines?

That’s actually a better design. A single strip like I have can mov around if not secured some way. Good work!

Regarding the brass olives for the fuel pump….. it’s just a compression fitting setup, same as my 95 rrc.
