Rusty window frames

How common an issue is the window frame rust issue?

It hasn't been my observation that they're prone to rust. Defenders and Range Rover Classics have issues in a few spots, but that's all I can think of beyond the obvious Series vehicles.

One side of my disco has rust around the rear quarter windows. That side must have been parked away from sun by PO(s). Its ugly but not worth worrying about right this second.
