I'm looking for someone in the Houston area who can sand blast and power coat my SD roof rack. One of the light tabs has rusted through and a new one needs to be welded in. Please let me know of any good shops or simply people who are set up to do this kind of work. Thank you.

Not sure if you frequent the Dallas area often or not, but there’s a guy up here who will do them for $125

That's a good price. I just had my SD rack blasted and recoated for twice that. I'm very happy with the results, however.

If you are a cheap bastard.

Get the welding done first, then...

Find a company that does industrial work, like inside of water tanks and silos, etc.

They can likely do it for next to nothing if you take it to site and pick it up.

Or just ask your powder coater. If they don't do it themselves they'll know who to talk to.

FWIW I had some motorcycle racks and fittings powder coated at a place in Navasota. https://www.texascustomcoaters.com/gallery
They were awesome to deal with and since I brought them my racks pre-blasted they just threw them in with a bigger order. it was pretty cheap, maybe 40 bucks or something? Not sure what they charge if they do all the prep.
