I know it's bad form for a first post to be in the classified section...

I'm selling my 1994 Cornish Cream Range Rover Classic with 178k miles - located in San Francisco - asking $12k.

I've had it for 4 years but I'm moving cross country and starting a new job so I won't have time to enjoy this car. This was supposed to be my "forever" camping truck but I have been swamped with work and haven't been able to use it much in the past year. It was my regular commuter for 2 years and I've taken it to Utah, Joshua Tree, and Tahoe and it’s been fantastic every time.

The good: 4.2l V8 runs great and all maintenance is up to date. A 2016 restoration included a repaint, reupholstery, and a tuneup by World Proven Land Rover. Air suspension is replaced with a stock height bilstein setup and it has had a recent fuel pump, blower motor, and tailgate window replacement. Car comes with an Atlantic British brush guard (currently uninstalled), Bola roof rack, and an OEM dog guard. I've gone through all the maintenance items in the time I've owned the car - all fluids and services are up to date.

The bad: This RRC's Carfax report has a higher mileage reported than the odometer (212k miles in 8/2016 when the odometer read 164k miles). Someone used this car’s VIN for two smog inspections and recorded a higher mileage after it had passed smog. This can be corrected on Carfax - this never bothered me since I never planned on selling this RRC. The cruise control currently doesn’t work and the AC needs to be recharged or converted. Veneer could use some attention.

Specifics:

Body - Overall in great shape. Very minimal rust on frame since this car spent a considerable amount of time in CA and TX. This car has the cowl panel hole (1/4" diameter, pictured) that's common with RRCs and is currently taped over. Paint has chips around back left roof gutter and front left quarter panel.
Brush guards - Front Atlantic British (captured in one of the attached images) and rear OEM guards come with the sale but are not installed
Radio - Has aftermarket radio that has a bad ground (can hear some buzzing). Sale includes original radio.
Blower - Was replaced with the Atlantic British rebuild kit in 11/19
Tailgate - Frame was replaced with a Famous Four aluminum rebuild kit in 11/19. The original tailgate frame is steel and tends to rust and leak
Locks - Electronic locks and key fobs work great. Keys do not currently match and I replaced the ignition lock with a new, non-alarmed lock recently. Driver's door needs to have lock spring replaced (parts will be included with sale)
Included Parts:
Bola roof rack
OEM dog guard
Atlantic British front brush guard
Lloyd NorthRidge tan floor mats cut for LWB RRCs
Covercraft gold windshield shade
Original Mechanics' maintenance manual and parts catalog
Comes with boxes of various parts including wood panels for refurbishment

Recent maintenance - Distributor rebuilt 5/19, new battery 10/19, new O2 sensors, coolant swap, replacement 11/19. Oil change was 500 miles ago. This RRC passed smog on 12/10/20

Feel free to reach out with questions. I'm not willing to part out the car at this time.

What wheels are those?

Those wheels came standard on 1993 LWB Range Rovers in the US market. I don't know if they have a thematic Rover name like Hurricane, Tornado, Typhoon, or the Cyclone wheels that came standard on the 1994 LWB. In one sense they are anachronistic, but in another they look kind of cool with the body-matched paint. The mismatch works well in this case, recognizing that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Yep. Was curious as the ad states ‘94 Rangie and those are not OEM on a ‘94. Had a ‘93 LWB with matching body colored wheels. Thought it looked good. The one scheme I didn’t like was the white combo - let alone Cornish Cream. And for sure it is in the eye of the beholder!

I have those wheels on my alpine white 92. They’re gun metal spokes and silver edges. I like them a lot. Pretty sure they are original to the vehicle

@CatskillCruiser Sorry for the lack of response - I screwed up my email alert settings. And sorry to inform you that this RRC sold earlier this week.

And the previous commenters are correct - these are not the original wheels on this '94 RRC. It originally came with cyclone wheels but the restorer chose to put on color matched 5-spokes.
