I am perplexed and seeking some assistance.

Summary
SRS light was coming on and off a few months back, checked the code with the iCarsoft LR II v12.20
Code came back as P0000, I cleared the code and it would come back every so often
Now, the SRS light and P0000 code comes on every time I start the truck.

Things I have tried and with each trial cleared the code and it came back

I tried discharging battery and disconnect airbag - P0000 came back
I replaced the rotary coupler - P0000 came back
I unplugged the seat belt tensioners on both side, got an open circuit fault & P0000. Plugged back in and P0000 came back so I ruled out it was seat belt tensioner related
I unplugged the air bags on both sides, got an open circuit fault, no P0000. Plugged back in and P0000 came back.

I read that a bad ECU could cause the SRS light to come on but, I would presume I would have other significant issues if my ECU was bad.

I need some help on next steps for trouble shooting

P0000 looks like a generic fault that the iCarsoft doesn't read. Looks like it doesn't properly read SRS fault codes.

That is what I thought hence the reason I tried to disconnect everything to see if a different code appeared. In all 4 attempts I was able to get a electrical fault specific to the device I had disconnected. I will rent the Nanocom next to see if it has something specific.
