Quick question. I bought a set of 16 inch terrafirma steelies from lucky 8. I’m trying to find center caps that fit. Does anyone know if the Land Rover D2 black plastic center caps will cover the hub and lug nuts? Pic attached. Also has anyone tried to modify another type of Land Rover center cap to cover the hub? Thanks, Tom

Do you have the bigger lug nuts as well? You’ll need those.

Don’t waste your money. The first time you remove a cap, to remove a wheel, they break.

I had them years ago. They look nice, but hold moisture and mud, one of them fell off normal driving, etc.

You should have bought the center caps from Justin as well. If you told him you were getting the center caps he would have told you you absolutely needed the larger style nuts.

The caps will not fit because your wheels require the small lugnuts, and the caps require the large lugnuts.

Yes they will. The taper on the standard and bigger nuts are the same.

Just so everyone understands....

Standard steel wheel lug nuts (sold by aftermarket companies) require a 19 mm socket.

The ‘big’ ones require a larger socket. I forget the exact size...I’m wanting to say 22 mm but not 100% sure.
