What is up 2020! STILL working on this mf’er. I broke down and ordered the TPS kit from ACT out of GB. Works great but I still have the damn stalling issue. I unplugged the IACV and the damn thing runs great but idles high like it’s supposed to. Pulled the IACV and it’s got some sort of white gunk inside the spring/plunger. I am assuming that it is not supposed to be like that. Anyone have any idea what that could be?

Its grease for the pintle shaft of the stepper motor

They are cheap, so Id blast everything back there with carb cleaner and replace the iac with a new gasket too

Disconnect battery and wait 5 minutes before doing anything with the steering wheel to make the airbag

I've been a tech in dealerships before air bags existed. I might have done that once or twice, then for a while I think I kind of turned my head away while I unplugged it. I'm pretty sure I don't know anyone who does that. Don't be scared.
