Surging Idle

Greetings all Good Rover People!
I've just got my 95 D1 / 3.9L on the road, while Idling, the engine speed surges between 1200 -1700 RPM then will settle down to around 700 - 800 RPM. It's a 5 spd, so I notice this every time I roll up to a stop with the clutch depressed. Any suggestions as to what I should be checking into?

Idle air valve is the most likely culprit. one off a 91 camaro is close enough to work.

That fixed the issue, Rover runs great! My local parts store had the item in stock. Same part number for Rover & GM.
