I am not sure of the exact date this website was launched, but I do know it has been at least ten years. The first page the internet archive has cached is October 13th 1999. I was on vacation or I would have posted this on that day.

Happy 10th Discoweb. We have all changed so much in these years, it's simply amazing to me. Who was here from day one? I think there might be ten of us left who are still active.

I only joined after Daniel and some girl were talking about Dweb at the Brandywine event.
August or September 2003??
Up to then, I read the old Rovers North BBS...

I started lurking in 2001, but I think my first post may have been around 2003. How long has Garrett been around?

What ever happened to that girl? She was fucking nuts. I can't even remember her name. I remember she was going to Radford and that's about it. Never saw her again after that.

I started before I got my Disco in March 2001.

Heck, that makes me realize I have clocked almost 90,000 miles since then. I bought it with about 40,000, it has 128,000 now and the Check Engine light bulb is still going strong!

That turned on about a week after I bought it and stayed on...

oh god, I started lurking back in early 2001. dweb was one of the few things that helped me survive working graveyard shift at the airport. I used to covet Ho's white disco, and spent way to much time and energy planning new mods for my disco. can't remember when I started actively participating though. it was shortly there after, but sporatic.

At your mom's
I was on for a year or so in 2001-2002. Carter Simcoe, Perrone Ford, the Porterfield kid....

This was back when you could post under any name you wanted. Some butt ranger threatened to come to my house and kick my ass, the site changed format and required a sign up membership and I went into lurk and search mode. For some stupid reason I signed up in 2007. I guess to look at the classifieds...

Madness.

Don't think it was exactly "day one" but, I'm still here. I still remember the "Axel Files" http://web.archive.org/web/19991013020253/http://axelfiles.com/. :D

I got my first Series in the fall of '98, didn't get my first Disco until 2000, but had been lurking here for at least a year before I got the Disco; I remember hitting the site while still in Knoxville, Fall '98 / Spring '99.... (couldn't tell ya when exactly)...

I got my Disco in 2000; for the life of me I can't remember when I started posting. I do remember making the typical rookie comment giving Marc O a hard time when he described how to remove a tie rod end.

I lurked in the fall of 2001, once I decided I was going to buy a Disco.

Got her on Derby Day, May 4 2002.

Been here ever since (much to many people's dismay)!

I wasn't even a sparkle in my daddy's eye in 1999........

I just found out about this place in January 2009. My wife said I'm like one of those people they talk about on Oprah or Dr. Phil where the guy sits around for hours at a time everyday and Dr. Phil said," the guy will start to grow a third nipple if he keeps absorbing radiation from the computer for that long........" Yeah, I'm that guy.

Ahhh...the good old days. I remember my first post about an under-dash holster setup.
