I like A1 Bold and Spicy for use on a plate, but since I can't always find it, I just mix regular A1 with Tabasco. Of course, how I eat is a lot different than how I cook. I know what I'm doing, I just don't practice what I preach.:D

Cooking. Shit. I can't believe I forgot this brand:

Weber.

That was almost a crime.

Cheers,

Kennith

Weber is a great company. We've had Weber grills since I was a little kid. Then when I got into plastics after college I got the chance to work with them on their conversion away from wood into plastic handles. I love the way wood feels and looks, but there's no beating plastic in that application. The plastic parts on the grill will definitely outlast the metal parts.

Porsche - when you absolutely, positively have to be somewhere else in a hurry and have lots of fun getting there nothing else comes close.

Marlin 39A lever action 22LR rifle - lots of fun to burn through a brick of ammo with.

Stahlwille Tools - even better than Snap-On.

And of course - Land Rovers - to the eyes of a 13 year old me many years ago the coolest thing on four wheels I'd ever seen.

Glock - I don't care what anyone says, they are proven. I carry one every day. Would bet my life and my Wife's on it

Luminox Watches - I have several watches and want several more, my go to is my Luminox 3051 Colormark. Just wears great. I beat it up, still looks great. The tritium makes it so I can read it any time.

Blackberry - Say what you will. They do everything I need, never have problems, stable and secure. The new BB10 OS does everything needed. I don't care about facebook and twitter, and it does my work email better than my ipad air.

Braun Syncro electric razor - works great, last forever

Makers Mark Bourbon & Appleltons Rum

Dell Laptops - I've heard mixed review, but my personal experiences have been great. Have 2 laptops right now, both with SSD drives and lots of RAM. They run great, never had a problem with the 5 I've had.

lll third this.

Got a twin-turbo cayenne bout a month ago.

Holy cow. It's a rocketship disguised as a mom-mobile that also fits 3 sets of golfclubs.

Depreciation has made them very affordable, and they are pretty DIY-friendly with a lot of internet walkthroughs too.
Highly recommend!

Pick one of those depending upon your needs, and your laptop problems will be over.

There's also:

MSI
Digital Storm
Cyberpower
iBuyPower
Maingear
Lenovo

...And a number of others.

Friends don't let friends choose Dell.

Dell is why those Apple pricks think they've got something special.

Kennith

A Dell laptop is a working man's machine, not a gadget. Had two Dell laptops for/from work.

One poor little D620 died on me, finally, after being beat mercilessly in places where computers don't belong for five years.
I have an M4700 now, which blows a high-performance desktop (also Dell) in number crunching (and I do a lot). It's only a year old, but already accumulated some dust from remote places.
And at work, we have a ton of those of different vintages that were used and abused beyond redemption - scratched up, with keys falling off, cases dinged and bent, yet running.

I would not hesitate to buy one for myself if I wasn't so cheap.

I think maybe some are confusing a good product with a good "brand". Brands make the promise that their products and services are supposed to keep.

Ok. How about McCormick then. Still selling quality spices and not fucking up things like Old Bay. They haven't made buffalo flavored old bay or sriracha old bay. It's the same shit in the same container.

I used to bang Mr. McCormicks granddaughter. Think her name was Kim, but it could have been Amy. Can't remember. McCormicks is a good brand.

So, after all the complaints, you finally tip your hat to a spice bottler? There's bound to be some other company that provides a product or service that puts more than a QWERTY smirk on your face.

I further submit VacuMaid, and their production of the Garage Vac. I may as well submit Whirlpool, for their production and marketing of mass produced and purpose built American made cabinets. One of them is in the picture, after all.

The folks over at Lindsay Manufacturing (VacuMaid) seem to be a great bunch, and while I haven't required any post-sale service, they've kept communications open and have been enthusiastic about my own enthusiasm.

It's just a damned vacuum, but it's a vacuum about which they seem to care quite deeply. It's also a simple, high quality product that functions as well as something of it's nature can.

Cheers,

Kennith

Milt Sparks holsters. Milt has been gone for a while, but Tony Kanaly and his crew have been very consistent over the years.
