Felt and heard a clunk and sloppy steering wheel at low speeds on bumps like rocky trails, parking lot potholes, or the neighborhood curb in front of my driveway. Now that they have been replaced, the steering is tighter and...."thicker" and it handles better at low and high speeds. The steering and front end were a bit rattly on the highway and the whole truck shimmied a bit, like unbalanced wheels. I had just installed new tires all around so I knew it wasn't an unbalanced tire issue. I had assumed the lowers and was a bit surprised when he said uppers too. He said the bushings were all shot to shit. He also said lowers had been replaced before but not uppers. This repair shop is a great shop, very trustworthy and fair. Great reputation around town. They did all the maintenance and repair work on my 2004 D2 from about 2010 onward. I gave them more money on that damn D2 than the purchase price of my LR4.
Just got home and checked my receipt.
