It's time to replace the front wheel bearing/hubs on the LR3. Are all hubs created equal or is there a specific brand I should use? Not looking to cheap out but don't see the need to spend more than we need too either.

I grabbed mine (Timken) off amazon, many have good experiences with L8's too. Not a hard job, I didn't need a hub puller but worth having on hand.

To reiterate Ray it was a pretty easy job. Hardest part was pounding out the old hub. 2 tips for anyone doing this job.

1) remove the dust shield. simple and you'll get a better angle to whale on the hub
2) wire bush/clean threads on the hub bolts. Lots of baked on brake dust and clean threads made it much easier to back out the bolts
