I use simpletire.com often. They offer free shipping and I don't have to worry about tax. They offer discounts and specials often so look for that as well.

4Wheel Parts usually has some good deals. I got a set of tires on a pro deal through BF Goodrich back in the day and it was just barely better that 4Wheel Parts. (And 4WDP got them to me a hell of a lot quicker!)

Treadwright and Tirerecappers have both had tires on sale lately, otherwise I prefer simpletire.com and discounttiredirect.com

4wheel parts also told me that they couldnt get me my TSL's because Interco had stopped making the TSL SS...( They still had them listed on the website)

Called Summit Racing.. They said 3-4 weeks IF they could get them..

Called Interco.. They had them in stock and they shipped the next day!

I have a 4wheel parts 2 miles from my house.. Ive tried to give them my business several times, but unless you drive a JK.. they dont give a shit.

I ordered a set of Pirelli Scorpion ATR LT225/75R16 from Amazon. They were $89ea with free shipping and came from a CA company called Tire Crazy. I doubt I would have bought from a company called Tire Crazy if I found them on the Internet, but it was though Amazon and I guess I felt better about it. Tires arrived on-time and have been fine. Through Amazon these tires were about $25 less per tire than the next lowest online price I could find and $35 less per tire than my local tire dealer.

I bought a set of recaps from Treadwright several years back - great tires, affordable, and environmentally friendly.

My red truck came with treadwrights. The tread looks brand new but the rest of the tire sucks. The spare has never seen pavement and the cap is cracked and looks ready to peel off. That and the old carcasses means chain shops won't mount them.

Love the price...hate the risk.

For a few $$ more, I'll keep my eyes open for a deal from simpletire or 4wheel. Or maybe a set of blems from Interco.

KM3's should be out soon. Ive seen them on Bill Burkes D90.. They look good. Curious what pricing will be compared to the KM2

Hmm the KM1 was on the market for 20 years without a redesign, something?s odd about this. Maybe it?s just about profit margins or maybe something deeper.

KM3 looks like basically a KM2 with siping (or grooving, really).

My feedback on those BFGs is that they’re heavy, decent clean-out, weak sidewall. I would recommend a Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ over a KM2.

It?s marketing. I mean, look at the Pit Bull tread patterns. They look like Lucky Charms cereal.

Hell, the KM1's marketed their sidewall, I believe it was called tri-guard. For me they were great, not happy they are gone. Only heard good things about the Mickey Thompson's as well. I know I almost got 60K miles out of my last BFG A/T's. I drive like a grandma though, most of the time.
