Are you going to lift the Disco? If so, think about getting a bigger tire.

Check the Tire Size guide under the "tech" section here on D-web.

I'm running 245/75R16 with a 2" OME lift. I had to do some very minor trimming in the front and rear. But no one can tell unless they are about a foot away.

I just got done going off roading with the Bridgestone AT Revo's 245/75/16's. In the real muddy stuff, they did okay, but did not clean well. But overall they did okay and they are great on road tires. (I did pull out a freelander and a D2 - with stock tires) So I guess they did okay, but I would like to have something better if off roading more.

But that is just opinion.

BFG AT's all the way great on and offroad. My d-1 had those dueler's they sucked offroad and in wet weather.

I am getting the Revo's installed after work today. I have read nothing but great things about them. If you do more heavy off roading though the BFG T/A KO's are probably a better tire.

Josh,

I have these exact tires (255/70-16). They work ok, but I'd wish I would have bought
the BFG A/T's. I think someone already mentioned this but, in the Tech Section way at the bottom under Wheels and Tires you'll find sizes you can use without a lift

it looks like im going to get these tires, there only going to cost me 450 installed for 4. so i really cant refuse it. ive got to slap some at's on becuase im sporting the "its not a jeep thing its the real thing" sticker already haha. some guys in my unit were talkin shit about it so i had to take them wheelin and once agian upheld my rovers honor.

245/70-16: little taller and wider than the stock size. reportedly, no need for lift, just minor trimming to fit those tires.

where exactly will i have to trim up?

I had a set of the Bridgestone APTs, which is the same animal, only labeled for and sold by Sears. The things had sidewalls as wimpy as wet toilet paper.

BRG ATs are the way to go in that class.
