Land Rovers/cruisers ford rivers in far off lands. That's the image. Sometimes it doesn't work out in reality.

Bummer about your experience, but why, why do people think that they would not have a problem with water over the hood.

Because it's has a snorkel Yo! That's what snorkels are for right?

I actually do have a snorkel on my truck but it's there mostly because it looks cool. I rarely go in water over the hubs. Although I'd feel safe up to about the sliders.

Check the connector under the drivers rear wheel well going to your fuel pump.

I think that they make a vehicle even a little more poser. Especially if not done right and on a petrol vehicle.

I really really really want one. And my truck is otherwise stock. It should help get me some cred at the mall.

You're seeking cred from the deadbeats that hang out at the mall?

At the mall. Like mall crawling. Like all those big lifted to the sky pickups and fresh out of the 4x4 catalog JK wranglers that actually don't wheel. 'Tis a joke. Or you got the reference and are continuing the joke, in which case, lolz.

Yep, I got it. Most of my posts are better understood if you pretend we're sitting around a campfire half-drunk.

Idk why they moved the ECU to where it is on GEMS trucks. I like mine nice and tucked away inside.

The Lucas gods have smiled on me! I randomly got in today and turned the key, fuel pump made noise and the old bitch started right up!!

Un-f&%#ing-believable.

I haven't moved it out of the garage yet, but shifted around and it feels like the transmission is responding. No clue if that means anything or not.

I can tell you that I am grinning from ear to ear though!!
