A couple days ago a noticed a small leak in the return line for the transmission cooling system in my 1996 D1. It appears to have been rubbing a hanger just above the front axel.
Can anyone suggest a good quick fix to get me throught the next week or so until I can get the new part and install it? Is it a high pressure system? I can not weld but will a bit of sodder work? The whole is very small but there none the less.

You are going to have a tough time soldering a line with fluid in it. You would also have a tough time getting enough fluid out to make any difference without removing the whole cooler assembly.

It is a fairly high pressure line, but path of least resistance still applies. Try some layers of exhaust tape or even duct tape after you clean the line.
