Tried to do the transfer case oil the other day but none of the torx I had seemed to fit well. Either too large or felt just a bit too small. I don't want to strip it out as its really tight, I have replacement hex head bolts, but still don't want to deal with a pita. Anyone know what size torx it is?

also, out of nowhere the washer bottle sprung a leak, anyone experienced this or know if there is a history of it happening to LR3's?

Thanks.

Not sure on the torx, but the washer bottle leak is fairly common. They crack apparently and that's all she wrote. What sucks is I never heard of a good way to do it w/o removing the front bumper. I replaced mine when the bumper was swapped.

Just now seeing this, but for future reference, the drain and fill plug on the transfer box is a 8mm hex, not torn. The transmission fill is 8mm hex and the drain is 10mm hex. The diffs are 8mm hex for the fill and the drains are either 14mm hex, or 3/8" square (regular 3/8" ratchet).
