Turning LR3 nav screen off by default?

Does anyone know if it’s possible to make an LR3’s nav screen be off by default? Tired of pressing the touchscreen “button” to black it out. I have a gap tool, asked them, and they told me no luck. So guessing it’s a dead end, but figured I’d mine the collective wisdom before I make a panel to block it.

This would be a chore, but you could put in the dash from an SE without the Nav option

I’m in the same boat Kory. Just keep mine off unless I’m off road or diagnosing something with EAS

I don’t think they would make that possible because joe public would get all confused by that. If it’s off it’s inop ie broken.
