Signatures are temporarily disabled until I can figure out how to remove external links in signatures.

Signatures are re-enabled but users are no longer allowed to put URL tags in your signatures. Sorry.

Seems like I don't see them in any posts I look at. I was mostly looking in the for sale sections. At first I thought maybe people just don't post pictures of their trucks or items anymore but then I looked at my own for sale thread from last year and I can't see the pictures that I know I posted with it in that either.

A lot of people used a "free" image host to post their pics. Several major hosts went paid-only and this broke images on many forums.

In the future, I recommend using our much-improved attachment system or hosting your images on a provider that you pay (e.g. Flickr, etc.).

Those particular pictures in my thread were attached using the old DiscoWeb attach files button for that exact reason.

Bummer. Old attachment system was flaky. I don't think that we lost any attachments once I took over but we definitely lost a bunch in the old days when Axel's server had a hard drive flake out. We barely managed to get the files off the machine and onto the new gear.

The new DWeb server uses redundant storage but I'm planning on moving our attachments to Amazon S3 for better long-term redundancy and faster serving.

Just upgraded our (new) software. This brings a bunch of new features but the one you'll probably notice is the revamped post editor.

Let me know if you run into any trouble.

I haven't posted here in almost a decade, even though I was pretty active as an angsty teenager, but I thought I should fix that for various reasons, this great refresh being one of them. Admittedly, the color scheme is a bit jarring because that grey background was sort of my Rover childhood, and I'm a nostalgic guy...but in reality, it looks excellent. Thanks for keeping this place going, Chris.

I miss the OG website but well done and thank you for your work. Any chance in bringing back some Disco Web stickers??
