Inside passenger side, bolted to the body next to the relays. (The one with the yellow dot)

It has a 7.5 fuse that is burned out.

Edit: My endless searches for "black box" Black electrical box. Black electrical box passenger side ---- finally proved worthy when I added 7.5 fuse to my search.

Factory Radio Amplifier.

Yes that is the factory amplifier for the factory stereo. If you have an aftermarket radio just wire the speaker wires from your aftermarket radio directly to the speaker wires on one of the plugs on that amplifier and remove the factory amp. You can do the same for the subwoofer amp that is located in the rear door behind the subwoofer assembly if you're not using it.

Thanks. I have an aftermarket amp and good stereo. I'm just chasing down why my side marker lights aren't working (I think they used to) and was looking all over for grounds, fuses, wiring problems, etc and saw that. Turns out the fuse in it is blown but who knows on a Rover - that might be affecting my poor mpg ;)

For a '96 NAS Disco, the side lights should come on at the first on position of the light switch. The red wire from the switch powers the side lamps via a 10A fuses, either F2 or F8 in the main panel (I think). From the panel a Red-Orange wire goes to the side lights. If the fuses are OK, I'd pull off the side marker lights and check the bulbs and then the sockets for corrosion, ground and voltage.

Oh, and I'd remove the original amp if you've replaced the radio. Who knows what could be causing the fuse to pop? :bigok:
